PureHealth, the largest integrated healthcare group in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is adding and upgrading 22 Seha Clinics and mobile healthcare units across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain during 2026. The group describes the program as more than a physical expansion, framing it as a strategic shift toward proactive, personalized, and technologically advanced primary care.
It attributes the move to Abu Dhabi's rapid population growth and urban development, and says the aim is to embed healthcare more closely in daily community life.
Strengthening local primary healthcare is essential for resilient communities and healthy families, as it provides the security and support needed for every home to thrive.

The initiative also links the network's growth to national social programs, which PureHealth presents as part of a broader alignment between health services and family and community policy in the UAE.
Saadiyat Island clinic moves to round-the-clock operations
The flagship community clinic on Saadiyat Island transitioned to 24/7 operations in September 2026, offering round-the-clock access to family medicine, pediatrics, and diagnostics. PureHealth says the change is intended to deliver immediate and convenient care in rapidly developing residential areas.
Naš BiroWhat the 2026 rollout includes
- Six new primary healthcare clinics
- Three visa screening centers
- Six mobile healthcare units
- Five existing clinics expanding their services
- Two clinics reopening
Several new facilities have already begun operating this year, including sites in Al Rowdha, on Saadiyat Island, and in Liwa in Al Dhafra. PureHealth says further openings are anticipated by the end of 2026. The group says the placement of these sites is meant to bring routine care, preventive screening, and specialist support closer to residents, reducing travel burdens and supporting continuity of care.
OneHealth delivers the mobile units
OneHealth, a subsidiary of PureHealth, delivers the mobile healthcare units, a role the group describes as crucial and often underreported. The units are designed to extend preventive and primary care services directly into neighborhoods rather than relying solely on traditional clinic settings.
Naš BiroPureHealth calls this approach central to its "care and cover" model, which it says is intended to strengthen coordination across its entire healthcare ecosystem.
AI-enabled diagnostics and earlier detection
Seha Clinics are using AI-enabled, data-driven diagnostics, including advanced radiology reporting and internationally recognized retinal screening programs. PureHealth says these tools are designed to improve clinical accuracy, enhance efficiency, and make earlier detection of potential health issues possible.
The group connects them to Abu Dhabi's broader digital health goal of moving from reactive "sick care" to predictive, proactive, and personalized healthcare.
Growth measured in 4.1 million outpatient visits
The expansion follows a period of growth for the network. In 2025, Seha Clinics recorded 4.1 million outpatient visits, a 14.5% year-on-year increase. Visa screenings rose 12.5%, reaching 1.4 million.
The network says it currently serves more than 2.4 million people across Abu Dhabi and reports a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70, which it presents as an indicator of high patient satisfaction. The addition of 100 physicians contributed to 54% growth in specialized visits.
The network says it is supported by more than 900 doctors across over 20 specialties, including family medicine, pediatrics, and cardiology.
Leadership on demand, waiting times, and family health
Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, said that strengthening local primary care is vital for resilient communities and healthy families, providing the "reassurance and support every home needs to flourish."
Dr. Khadija Al Marashda, Chief Executive Officer of Seha Clinics, highlighted the goal of meeting growing demand, reducing waiting times, and improving the overall patient experience through extended hours and multispecialty expertise.
Alignment with national health and family programs
PureHealth says the initiative aligns with the Abu Dhabi Department of Health's vision for an integrated healthcare system focused on prevention, continuity of care, and improved long-term health outcomes. The group also says the expansion resonates with the UAE's "Year of the Family 2026" and follows the "Year of Community 2025," reinforcing a national commitment to family wellbeing and community health through accessible, high-quality services.
The strategy follows the rebranding of Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) to SEHA CLINICS in February 2025, when the network comprised 34 clinics and plans called for 10 new openings that year, which PureHealth presents as evidence of a continuous and evolving approach to primary care provision.
Challenges: staffing, equity, and insurance coverage
PureHealth identifies potential challenges alongside the benefits. These include the ongoing demand for qualified healthcare professionals and the need to ensure equitable access and affordability across all demographic groups, particularly for foreign residents who may have varying health insurance coverage.
The group nonetheless presents the expansion as a pivotal step toward making advanced, preventive healthcare a tangible reality for more residents across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
